Biography
Dennis R. Wallace II has called Southwest Florida home since 1982. Mr. Wallace attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degrees in the areas Criminology and Political Science.
After graduation from FSU, Mr. Wallace attended the St. Thomas University, School of Law, in Miami, Florida, earning his Juris Doctor Degree in 2001. Since returning to Southwest Florida he has focused his practice predominately in the areas of Criminal Defense and Family Law.
Prior to opening Wallace Law Firm, Mr. Wallace had the opportunity to work for the State Attorney's Office of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit for four years, where he was responsible for 1000's of criminal cases, including misdemeanors, juvenile, and felony offenses. He also spent time in the Lee County Special Victims Unit, prosecuting those Defendants charged with various sexual offenses and child abuse/neglect. Mr. Wallace has represented numerous clients before the various Courts in Charlotte, Lee, DeSoto and Sarasota Counties in both Criminal Defense and Family Law.
Since opening the Wallace Law Firm in 2010, Mr. Wallace has focused much of practice in area of Family Law. He has helped hundreds of clients with their divorce, child custody and child support cases. He has been successful in settling his clients matters at mediation or has litigated their cases before the Judges on the 12th and 20th Judicial Circuits.
Between 2012 and 2014, Mr. Wallace was appointed General Magistrate for the 20th Judicial Circuit and presided over case in the Family Court. Also, during this time Mr. Wallace was honored to act as a Child Support Hearing Officer in Hendry County and Glades County, Florida.
Mr. Wallace is married to his wonderful wife, Kathryn. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and boating on the waters of Southwest Florida. Being an alum of the Florida State University, Mr. Wallace is an avid fan and always has time to watch his beloved Seminoles take the field. Mr. Wallace is a member of Peace River/Harbor Heights Rotary Club and sits on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Charlotte County.
